Please read this policy carefully before placing your order. By confirming your purchase, you acknowledge that you have understood and agreed to the terms stated below.


2. Customized and Non-Standardized Products

The 5kW Home Solar Panel System (including installation), along with other solar systems offered by Solar Republic, are customized and non-standardized products. Each system is specifically designed, configured, and installed to suit the unique requirements of your property.

Therefore, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been confirmed and installation has commenced.


3. Compliance with New Zealand Consumer Law

Nothing in this Return Policy limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

You are entitled to remedies if:

  • The product is faulty or defective.

  • The installation has not been carried out with reasonable care and skill.

  • The product does not perform as reasonably expected or as described.

In such cases, Solar Republic will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or remedy the issue as required by law.


4. Pre-Installation Changes and Cancellations

If you wish to cancel or modify your order before installation begins, please contact us immediately. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request, please note:

  • Design or equipment changes may incur additional costs.

  • Cancellations may result in forfeiture of your initial deposit to cover design, administrative, and procurement costs already incurred.


5. Post-Installation Issues

Once installation is complete, the system is covered under:

  • Product Warranty (manufacturer’s warranty for panels, inverter, and other components).

  • Workmanship Guarantee (covering installation quality).

If you experience any issues with system performance, please refer to our Warranty Policy or contact our customer service team. Issues will be resolved by repair or replacement under the applicable warranty terms, rather than through returns or refunds.
